Whit Wyatt is a former American professional baseball athlete who hailed from Kensington, Georgia. Wyatt both batted and threw right handed and played as pitcher for the Detroit Tigers, Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians, Brooklyn Dodgers and the Philadelphia Phillies in the Major League Baseball. Throughout his entire major league career, Wyatt played in the All-Star Games for consecutive years from 1939 up to 1942. After his retirement Wyatt spent several years as a pitching coach for the Atlanta Braves from 1966. Whit Wyatt passed away at the age of 91 on July 16, 1999 in his home in Carrollton, Georgia.
