Major League Baseball relief pitcher of the Atlanta Braves Tanyon Sturtze was born on October 12, 1970 in Worcester, Massachusetts. Generally known as The Grand Tanyon, Sturtze attended Quinsigamond Community College before he was acquired by the Oakland A's during the 1990 Amateur Baseball Draft.
