Steve Henderson is a retired professional baseball player and is most popular for being part of the “Midnight Massacre”. Henderson occupied the left fielder position while playing in the Major League Baseball and is from Houston, Texas. Henderson was acquired by the Cincinnati Reds during the 1974 amateur draft and was assigned to play for the Billings Mustang Pioneer League during his very first year of turning pro. After playing for the Mets for a total of three seasons, Henderson was traded to the Chicago Cubs. While playing for the Cubs, Henderson was able to come up with a batting average of .293.
