Pierre Garcon, an American football wide receiver for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League, was born on August 8, 1986 in Carmel, New York. A graduate of Mount Union in Ohio where he played college football, he made big by the Colts in the sixth round of the 2008 NFl Draft. During his college football years, he averaged over 60 catches, 1000 yards and 15 touchdowns every season as a Purple Raider. He also led Mount Union to two consecutive Div III National Championships, according to sources. According to extensive research, he made his way through the back up competition and made the active roster in the year 2009. In that season, he gad 47 receptions for 765 yards and 4 touchdowns. On January 16, 2010, during the AFC Divisional Playoff Game, he chased after Ed Reed during an interception and forced a fumble, recovered by Dallas Clark. An All-OAC awardee for three consecutive years (2005-2007), Garcon also broke the record for most receptions in an AFC Championship Game. On January 24, 201, he made 11 catches for 151 yards and 1 touchdown. Pierre also put up one of the Colts' only touchdown in a lost against New Orleans Saints on February 17, 2010. Pierre was also a two-time Division III All American awardee. His NFL statistics as of Week 17, 2009 include 51 receptions, 788 receiving yards and 4 receiving TDS.
