Norman Calvin Miller is a retired professional baseball player who played outfielder in the Major Leagues who played his entire playing career from 1965-1974. He would play for the Houston Astros and Atlanta Braves. Later in his career he served in the Astros front office is believed to be the first Jew to play for the Astros. He is closely associated to Ryan Braun, commonly called The Hebrew Hammer, is an American right-handed Major League Baseball All-Star left fielder with the Milwaukee Brewers, and to Thurman Munson, a former a Major League Baseball catcher who spent most of his career with the New York Yankees and was the only Yankee ever to win both the Rookie of the Year and Most Valuable Player Awards.
