Michael Timothy Pagliarulo is a retired Major League Baseball player who served as a third baseman. Born on March 15, 1960 in Medford, Massachusetts, he began his Major League Baseball career after being drafted by the New York Yankees in the MLB amateur draft held in 1981. He was a sixth round pick by the Yankees and played his very first Major League Baseball game on July 7, 1984. Pagliarulo also became part of the San Diego Padres when he was traded to the team in 1989. He spent a year and a half in the with the team and then returned to the American League. There, he joined the Minnesota Twins for the 1991 season of the baseball league. With the Twins, Pagliarulo was able to bring home his very first World Series win. He was a starting baseman of the Twins in its World Series battle in 1991. At the middle of the 1993 season, Pagliarulo joined the Baltimore Orioles and spent the rest of the 1993 season with the team. According to sources, he appeared in the Japanese League during the 1994 season that was abridged by a strike. He played for the team Seibu Lions, where its future manager, Tsutomu Ito was also a player. He went back to the Major League Baseball to play for the Texas Rangers and had his final game in the league on October 1, 1995.
