Born on July 11, 1944 in Greensboro, North Carolina, Louis Clyde Hudson was a National Basketball Association player who played high school basketball at Dudley High School. He played college basketball at University of Minnesota and after an impressive career in college; he was picked by the St. Louis Hawks in the 1996 NBA Draft as 4th pick. Hudson was selected for the National Basketball Association All-Rookie Team. In his rookie season, he made a PPG average of 18.4 points. Listed at 6 ft. 5 in., he served as a forward but also plays as a guard. Hudson had a lengthy NBA career making 17, 940 points. He spent thirteen seasons and as named to the All-Star team six times while playing for the St. Louis Hawks. Nicknamed “Sweet Lou”, he also played for the Atlanta Hawks and the Los Angeles Lakers.
