Landon Wilson is an American pro ice hockey player who hails from St. Louis, Missouri and is currently playing as right winger and serves as team captain for the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League. Wilson was originally drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League during the 1993 NHL Draft as a nineteenth overall pick of the team. Aside for Maple Leafs, Wilson also joined several teams in the NHL including the Colorado Avalanche, Boston Bruins, Phoenix Coyotes and the Pittsburgh Penguins. After the 1993 draft, Wilson however, was not able to make his pro debut immediately; this is because during 1993 up to 1995, Wilson played for the University of North Dakota of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association. Also during the 1994-95 seasons, Wilson split his time playing for the University of North Dakota and the Cornwall Aces of the American Hockey League. After the end of that season, Wilson was acquired by the Colorado Avalanche and made his first appearance in the NHL ice rink during the 1995-96 seasons. Wilson also played for Espoo Blues in Finland during the 2004–05. Afterwards he moved to Switzerland to play with HC Davos before returning to North America on July 2008 and signed with the Dallas Stars . Throughout his entire NFL career, Wilson had participated in over 348 games, scoring fifty one goals and sixty assists.
