Kenneth Raymond Hodge Sr. was born on June 25, 1944 in Birmingham, England. He is a former hockey player who appeared in the National Hockey League. He was one of the few British hockey players who made it into the NHL. He started playing in the national league when he was a teenager after the Chicago Blackhawks signed him. He formerly played for the Ontario Hockey League team St. Catharines Black Hawks. He posted a lead in number of goals and points in 1965 while with the Blackhawks. Listed at 6 ft. 2 in., he is considered as one of the biggest forwards during his time. He spent two seasons with the Blackhawks and was traded to the Boston Bruins. With the Bruins, he made 45 goals and had 45 assists. He played in the right wing in the 1971 season and has broken NHL record in number of points when he made 105. However, he was noticed to have a slow 1972 season because of the injuries he had but was able to catch up during the offseasons. According to reviews, he had an ample amount of success in the 1976 to 1977 seasons and retired in 1980 to join the American Hockey League. Hodge currently works as a broadcaster for hockey games and works in Boston.
