Joe Frazier Autographs
Former world heavyweight boxing champion, Joe Frazier was born on January 12, 1944 in Beaufort, South Carolina. He is considered to be among the greatest heavyweights of all time, alongside Muhammad Ali. When he was still a child, many have noticed that he is bigger and stronger than most of the children who are of the same age with him. After his 20th birthday, he grabbed the gold medal in the 84 kilograms and above category during the Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Frazier then became a professional in 1965 where he defeated Woody Goss by a knockout during the first round. He then won three more fights in the same year, all by knockout. Frazier became undefeated in nine fights where he won eight by knockout before he gained a split decision over Oscar Bonavena in 1966. It was on 1967 when he won all four of his fights which include a 6th round knockout of Doug Jones and a 4th round challenging technical knockout of George Chuvalo. Frazier got the world heavyweight title of Ali in 1968 due to the latter's conscientious objections to serve in the Vietnem War leading to the recognition of Joe Frazier signed Red everlast boxing glove. It was on February 16, 1970 when his finale became a universally recognized champion when WBA world heavyweight champion Jimmy Ellis defended against him and then Frazier successfully won over Ellis with a fifth round knockout making the Joe Frazier signed Red everlast boxing glove a valuable item to own. He was able to retain his title twice in 1972 where he beat Terry Daniels and Ron Stander.
