Hideki Irabu is a former Major League Baseball player who hails from Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. He was born on May 15, 1969 and spent his childhood days in Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture. From 1988 to 1996, he played as a pitcher in the Pacific League for the team Lotte Orions, which was later on called the Chiba Lotte Marines.
