Greg Foster is a retired professional basketball player. He became active in the NBA from 1990 to 2003. Before deciding to try his luck as a professional, Foster first enrolled in the UCLA. He played collegiate basketball for the university's varsity team, the Bruins. However, he decided to transfer to the UTEP after his sophomore year in the UCLA. He was able to play with Tim Hardaway and Antonio Davis while playing collegiate basketball in UTEP. Together with the soon-to-be NBA stars, he helped the Miners clinch two WAC titles. By the end of his stay in UTEP, he was making an average of 15 points and 6.3 rebounds for each game. During the 1990 NBA Draft, Foster was selected by the Washington Bullets during the second round of the draft. He was the 35th overall pick. Throughout his entire career in the NBA, Foster would be able to reach the NBA three times. He would play in the finals with the Utah Jazz in two occasions and then with the Lakers in the 2000-01 NBA finals where the franchise became the season's champions. Other than those teams, Foster also played for the Milwaukee Bucks, Chicago Bulls, Minnesota Timberwolves, Seattle Supersonics, and the Toronto Raptors.
