George Parros is a National Hockey League player who hails from Washington, USA but has a Greek descent. He is a former hockey player in Delbarton School where he harnessed his right wing skills and after s successful high school career, he was given a slot in the Princeton University's hockey team. However, he did not proceed to play in the said university and instead had his minor league rookie career for the Chicago Freeze of the North American Hockey League which he joined in the 1998 season. After his minor league stint, he went to play at Princeton University and was assigned as a team captain during his senior year. He also finished his economics major education at the said university before trying his luck in the National Hockey League. He was selected by the Los Angeles Kings in the National Hockey League draft in 1999 where Parros became the 222nd overall pick. He spent a few seasons at the American Hockey League, where he played for the Manchester Monarchs. According to reviews, his best season came in 2004 when he scored an amazing 22 points from making 14 goals. After his training to become a fit fighter for the team, he made his National Hockey League debut on October 5, 2005 and finished the season with 318 PIM and appeared in 55 games. He joined the Colorado Avalanche and after a short stint with the team, he became part of his present team, the Anaheim Ducks, with which he won his first ever Stanley Cup.
