Gary Andrew Varsho or simply known as Gary Varsho, was a baseball player before and now a bench coach was born in Marshfield Wisconsin on June 20, 1961. He finished his studies in the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh, a public comprehensive university. He had careers as a player of baseball where he was an outfielder, manager and coach. He made his debut playing with the Chicago Cubs . Varsho spent fourteen years as a player of the team by the year of 1988 to 1990. By the year 1991, he transferred to the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played with them for three years then he moved to the Cincinnati Reds in the year 1993. He also played for the Philadelphia Phillies some years and his MLB career was characterized by his greatness as an outfielder. . As a manager, he worked again with the Philadelphia Phillies by the year 2004 because Larry Bowa from Sacramento, California was fired. He had appeared in national championships such as the National League Championship Series in 1991 and the year 1992. His career was highlighted during the year 1991 through good records. Currently, he is the bench coach of the team, the Pittsburgh Pirates and has been living his married life with Kay Varsho and their kids: Taylor, Daulton and Andie.
