Felix Rodriguez Autographs
Felix Rodriguez is a relief pitcher in the MLB for the Camden Riversharks. He was born in Monticristi, Dominican Republic on September 9, 1972, and was originally discovered as a catcher. He displayed an impressive arm as a catcher, and when he signed on with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1989 as a free agent, the team moved him to pitcher position. For seven years, Rodriguez played for the Dodgers with wavering abilities. He was later signed to play for the Cincinnati Reds as a free agent in 1996, and was traded for Scott Winchester to the Arizona Diamondbacks in 1997. Rodriguez's career moved him to another team in 1998 to the San Francisco Giants. It was with the Giants that Rodriguez found a home team for the next 6 years. Rodriguez experienced a memorable, but unfortunate loss during Game Six of the 2002 World Series. He was the relief pitcher for Russ Ortiz where he gave up home runs to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim . The chain-reaction of hitters from the Angels ultimately turned to the Giants' defeat. He was traded to the Philadelphia Phillies in July 2004, only to be traded yet again to the New York Yankees at the end of the same year. He started 2006 with the Washington Nationals , however, Rodriguez was also released several months later as a free agent.
