Chris Woodward is an American pro baseball athlete currently playing as infielder for the Seattle Mariners of the Major League Baseball. He was born in Covina, California and graduated from Northview High School located in Covina. Woodward threw and batted with his right and began his pro baseball career after he was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays during the 1994 amateur draft. During the 2004 seasons, Woodward had an injury causing him difficulties during that season; as a result, Woodward was released later that year by the Blue Jays. The following 2005 seasons, Woodward signed with the New York Mets and as an embodiment of flexibility, he played seven different positions including the entire infield. The following year however, Woodward was released by the Mets following an injury.
