Formerly playing in the National Basketball Association, Brent Price is a retired professional basketball athlete. His older brother, Mark Price, is also a former player for the NBA team Cleveland Cavaliers. Listed at 6 ft. 1 in., he was born as Hartley Brent Price on December 9, 1968. He started out as a point guard in South Carolina University where he posted high stats before joining the National Basketball Association. He began his NBA career with the Washington Bullets, now known as Washington Wizards, which drafted him in the National Basketball Association Draft of the 1992 season. He spent a total of three years with the Washington Wizards and made a field goal percentage of 41%. He posted 3 points per game in the said team and was signed by the team again in 1995. After his stint with the Wizards, he played for the Houston Rockets and showed improvement in points when he made 5 PPG. After playing for the Rockets, he joined the Vancouver Grizzlies via trade that sent Tony Massenburg and Steve Francis to the Rockets. However, Price statistically had a difficult time while with the Grizzlies when he made only 3 PPG and recorded 30% field goals. In the 2001 season, he moved to the Sacramento Kings.
