Currently the assistant coach for the Milwaukee Bucks, Adrian Griffin is a retired professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association. He played from 1999 to 2009, and was able to play in a considerable number of games for the Boston Celtics and the Dallas Mavericks. Prior to playing professionally, Griffin attended Seton Hall University. He was a starter for the university's team for three seasons. During his last season in Seton, he was able to post an average of 16.2 ppg, 8.3 rpg and 3.1 apg. He was able to receive All-Big East second-team honors while in college. Griffin was undrafted after he left Seton Hall in 1996 and he decided to play in the Continental Basketball Association for the Cordivari Roseto in Italy in 1998. In 1999, he was signed by the Boston Celtics. During his rookie season in the NBA, he was able to play in 72 games and start in 47 of them. He played for the Mavericks in 2001 and was able to post a 7.2 ppg average. The next season with the Mavericks Griffin was able to play in 74 games and start in 48.
